In order for us to fulfill the Mission and Vision statements, our church must have a practical, biblical strategy of youth ministry. That means that every goal of the youth ministry must come out of principles of scripture and be expressed in practical programs. These programs should be balanced among these five purposes:

Evangelism     Fellowship    Worship    Discipleship     Ministry

I saw this sign one time that said "safe place." This sign represented a place where people can go when they are in trouble. We believe all students are looking for a safe place . . . a place to build friendships that last . . . a place to be accepted simply for who you are . . . a place to discover the things that really count in life . . . a place just to have fun. To give us opportunities to spend time together, we take time each month to just have fun together. These are great times for those in the group to bring their friends to meet those that are involved with the youth group. Some of the fellowships include things such as:

Super Bowl Party
Lunches on Sundays
Frankie's Fun Park
Lock-Ins
Putt – Putt
Bowling
Pool Party & Cookout
And Much More!!!

Along with the rest of the church, our youth get together each Sunday at 9:45 AM for a time of Bible study. Our group is split into  Middle School and  High School classes.

Each quarter we take time to get away from the all that is going on around us and enjoy a time of spiritual renewal. Here are some of the past retreats and camps we have participated in:

World Changers - Norfolk, VA
Mfuge - Philadelphia, PA

These are great times to enjoy the fellowship of the group and to grow in our walk with Christ.
