Sunday School for Bed Babies through 5 Years Old
Overbrook Baptist Church offers Sunday School for Bed Babies through 5 years old every Sunday morning in the Preschool Wing of the Education Building.  Children are invited to remain in their classes during the worship hour for Extended Session.  Once a month, the children are brought into the sanctuary for a Children’s Sermon during the worship hour.  We offer many activities, music, arts & crafts to enhance the Bible Stories.  Children are offered a snack. 

Sunday School for 1st – 5th Grades
Children in the first through 5th grades study God’s word during the Sunday school hour beginning at 9:45 AM.  Early arrivers begin with “friendship building time”.  Children of this age join their families in the sanctuary during the worship.

Discipleship Programs

CIA (GA’s & RA’s)
In Children In Action, children will discover the joy of missions by being encouraged to reach beyond themselves to see the needs of others.  This is a coed adventure for grades 1-5.  CIA Agents learn about, pray for, and give to missions, while actually doing missions and participating in the work of the church and denomination.  Agents will learn that missions is fun and will grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle!  CIA meets on Wednesday evening’s at 6:45 pm 2nd floor of the educational building.

Nursery/Extended Session

Our goal is to make all children feel loved here at Overbrook Baptist Church and learn of the love of God.  For security purposes and parents peace of mind, OBC uses a carding system for picking up your child. When you enter the preschool area, you will hand your card with a number to match the nametag of your child.

Child Care
Mission Statement:  To support the home and extend the ministry of the church facilitating a Biblically based developmentally approved curriculum in a nurturing, safe environment while experiencing the love of Jesus.  OBC offers a quality preschool program during the week for children from birth through five years.  The hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Kindergarten (during school year)
Kindergarten is the first important step in a child’s education.  It is the pre-school that lays the foundation for all future school experiences.  The curriculum is offered in a Christian environment where each child is encouraged to respect his or her own self-worth as a child of God.  We believe that a child who understands and accepts himself or herself will be able to function well in any situation.  Kindergarten children meet daily from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
 

Kids for Christ

K.F.C. is a summer day camp for kids finishing K5 – grade 5.  We meet weekly to fellowship, do crafts and go on really cool field trips.
