What are the service times?
Overbrook provides a strong combination of solid biblical teaching and dynamic worship. Our services blend hymns and praise songs into an exciting worship celebration.

Messages are designed to give Biblical understanding to life today. Worship Services are held on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. On Wednesday nights at 6:15 p.m., join us as we pray about needs in the church family and spend time in deeper Bible study.

Small Group Bible Classes offer, for visitors and members alike, an opportunity to meet new people in a small-group setting and grow deeper in their faith. Classes are offered for children, students, single adults and married adults. Ask one of our greeters to help you find your place.

What about the kids?
We have Bible Study Classes for every person in your family. We offer childcare for preschoolers during worship services and special events. Parents of preschoolers are given a pager when the child goes to his or her classroom, which allows the parent to be contacted if a need arises. This also identifies the parent when the child is picked up after services. Elementary age children attend worship with their families.

Where do I go when I get there?
Guest and handicap spaces are near the main entrance to the church. If these places are filled, there is plenty of close parking available. Even the farthest parking spots are close to the main building. In case of rain, we have greeters ready with umbrellas to assist you.

It’s easy to spot the "main entrance" of our church. Greeters are stationed at the door on Sunday mornings to assist you. They’ll be happy to show you to a classroom or help you find a seat for worship.

What should I wear?
It is important that you come to worship the Lord. We have folks who dress fairly formally and others who are much more casual. Some men wear suits and ties, others wear casual clothes. Women come in dresses and pants. Youth and children are typically dressed casually.

Church Membership
Overbrook is a family of believers in Jesus Christ. You can become a member of Overbrook in one of four ways:

Accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and being baptized by immersion
If you have already accepted Jesus, but have not been baptized by immersion, then by following Him in believer's baptism
Transfer of membership by letter from another Southern Baptist Church
Statement of having previously accepted Christ and experienced baptism by immersion as a member of another Baptist or Bible church
